My name is Brenda, but you can call me BJ.  I love people and I love singing.  I think that "song" is the voice of the soul and if it comes from your heart....then it is a beautiful song.  I also do freelance photography and when I can, I write custom poetry.  I love spending time with my family and my friends.  My motto is:  There are no strangers in my world...just friends I haven't met!

Witchette (liz)

Hello everyone my name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz. I have been married to the same feller for 46 years and he still says that I am a keeper (lucky me). We have two sons and one daughter, two beautiful granddaughters and a handsome little grandson. My motto for life came from my high school homeroom teacher when she wrote in myyearbook, "where there is a willl there is a way". I have the will and DIXC is providing the way for me to reach out and touch our Troops, our Veterans, and their families. My hope is that through this website and the DIXC Broadcasts that the words I say and the songs that I play will touch someone in the same way, traveling with you throughout life's highways. From the bottom of my heart thank you for what your are doing or have done so we continue the freedom of "One Nation Under God Forever". God Bless each andeveryone of you and God Bless America for proudly she stand, strong and free

                 Ten Commandments

Some people have trouble with all those 'shall's' and 'shall not's' in the Ten Commandments. Folks just aren't used to talking in those terms. So, in middle Tennessee they translated the 'King James' into ' Jackson County ' language.....  no joke (posted on the wall at Cross Trails Church in Gainesboro , TN).

(1) Just one God

(2) Put nothin' before God

(3) Watch yer mouth

(4) Git yourself to Sunday meetin'

(5) Honor yer Ma & Pa

(6) No killin'

(7) No foolin' around with another fellow's gal

(8) Don't take what ain't yers

(9) No tellin' tales or gossipin'

(10) Don't be hankerin' for yer buddy's stuff

Now that's plain an' simple.Y'all have a nice day!
